Critical Incident Triage and Early Intervention

Critical Incident Triage and Early Intervention

Just like triaging a medical emergency, mental health triage after a critical incident can be just as important. The International Society for Traumatic Stress Studies (ISTSS; 2018) and the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE; 2018) recommend early psychological treatment interventions within the first three months of a traumatic event for reduction/prevention of PTSD symptoms and improvement of quality of life.

  • One-hour group Breakout Sessions to treat the effects of exposure to a traumatic critical incident or adverse experiences.
  • One-hour individual session(s) after a traumatic critical incident or adverse experience.
  • Follow-up consultation regarding the continued needs of the individual / organization.
Free 30 min. virtual consultation to discuss the needs of your organization.
